Brinks Attorney Allen Baum Named Among Top Entrepreneurs of 2009

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK - Brinks Hofer Gilson & Lione, one of the largest intellectual property law firms in the U.S., is pleased to announce that Allen R. Baum, shareholder and managing partner of the Research Triangle Park, NC office of Brinks, was named one of the "Top Entrepreneurs of 2009" by Triangle Business Leader magazine. Mr. Baum was noted for facilitating the opening of Brinks new Research Triangle Park office in 2008.

Mr. Baum is the managing partner of the Research Triangle Park, NC office of Brinks Hofer Gilson & Lione and focuses his practice on strategic intellectual property counseling and litigation in the areas of chemistry, pharmaceuticals, biochemistry and biotechnology. Mr. Baum received his J.D. from Widener University School of Law in Wilmington, DE and a B.S. in chemistry from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA.

Mr. Baum is a past president of the Licensing Executives Society (LES) USA & Canada. LES is a professional organization involved in the licensing, developing, protecting and commercialization of intellectual property.
