CHICAGO - Brinks Hofer Gilson & Lione, one of the largest intellectual property law firms in the United States, recently announced that the firm is the winner of the Northwestern University School of Law's 2008 Firm and Corporate Challenge within the 7-15 Challenge Group. This group is comprised of law firms with 7-15 alumni attorneys from the Northwestern University School of Law. Brinks ranked ahead of 22 other law firms with 100% alumni participation in the 7-15 Challenge Group.
The Northwestern University School of Law's Firm and Corporate Challenge raises funds for the school by challenging its alumni at law firms and corporations across the country to support the law school. This year, donors raised more than $2,000,000 for the school, exceeding the university's goal for 2008.
Ten Brinks attorneys attended Northwestern University School of Law and participated in the Challenge. They are David H. Bluestone, Jerome Gilson, Kevin Patariu, Amir N. Penn, Gary M. Ropski, Miyoung Shin and Andrew D. Stover.
