CHICAGO - Brinks Hofer Gilson & Lione was pleased to be a sponsor of the German American Chamber of Commerce of the Midwest (GACCoM) reception held in conjunction with the International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS) on September 11, 2008 in Chicago, IL.

The 2008 IMTS featured major manufacturers from across the globe and received the largest attendance for the show since 2000. The IMTS is a biennial trade show held in Chicago and exhibitors include manufacturers from a wide range of industries. More than 200 German companies presented their products to visitors from more than 100 nations.

The GACCoM, headquartered in Chicago, IL, was founded in 1963 with its mission to promote trade and encourage business relationships between Germany and the United States, specifically the Midwest. The GACCoM covers a territory of 14 states, including 13 Midwestern states, and is part of a greater network of German Chambers of Commerce Abroad (AHKs) that includes 120 offices in 80 countries around the world.
