ANN ARBOR - Brinks Hofer Gilson & Lione, one of the largest intellectual property law firms in the United States, is pleased to announce that Kelly K. Burris has recently joined the firm's Ann Arbor, Michigan office as counsel.
Ms. Burris focuses her practice on patent prosecution, patent validity and infringement opinions and patent litigation. She also works in trademark prosecution and enforcement, due diligence and transactional matters and general intellectual property law matters.
Prior to joining Brinks, Ms. Burris was a principal at a Detroit-based intellectual property law firm. In addition, Ms. Burris is a volunteer pilot with Angel Flight America, an organization that provides free air transportation to specialized health care facilities for people in need due to family, community or national crisis.
Ms. Burris received her J.D. from St. Louis University School of Law, her M.S. in material science from Washington University in St. Louis and her B.S. in aeronautical engineering from Western Michigan University.
