Brinks Hofer Gilson & Lione Debuts Herman Miller's My Studio Environments Workspace Design

CHICAGO - Gary M. Ropski, (left) president of Brinks Hofer Gilson & Lione, one of the largest intellectual property law firms in the U.S., and Douglas Ball, (right) designer of Herman Miller's My Studio Environments™, discuss the 2006 NeoCon award-winning workspace system at a ribbon-cutting reception held on the 23rd floor of Brinks' newly-expanded offices in the NBC Tower. Brinks is the first installation of the My Studio Environments™ workspace system in the Midwest and the first such environment within a law firm. In addition, Brinks has expanded and significantly increased its Data Center, showcasing a state-of-the-art Converged Network Center utilizing today's top technologies and advances in the Information Technology industry.

This office space redesign is the result of a long-time partnership between Brinks, who filed a patent on the My Studio Environments™ system and its client, Herman Miller, one of the largest and most celebrated office furniture companies in the U.S. Brinks brings the collaborative open-space design concept to its law firm with the philosophy that a well-organized work space and effective, productive, collaborative work force will build on the firm's commitment to exceptional client service and superior work product.

Founded in 1917, Brinks Hofer Gilson & Lione is based in Chicago with four additional offices across the country serving the intellectual property needs of clients from around the world.
