CHICAGO - At a recent community service project for Chicago Cares, Jerold A. Jacover, president of Brinks Hofer Gilson & Lione, one of the largest intellectual property law firms in the nation, assisted by summer law student associates (pictured from left to right), Elaine Chang, Adil Musabji, Jennifer J. Theis and Uma Bansal, (standing on the ladder), painted murals, stencils and other areas needing a fresh coat of color in preparation for the start of the new school term at the Ana Roque de Duprey School, 1405 N. Washtenaw Ave., Chicago. This essential but also enjoyable event was open to any member of the firm who wished to volunteer their services.
The Duprey School is a Chicago public school that accommodates 400 students from grades kindergarten through 8th and is recognized for its particularly strong math, science and growing technology curriculum. Situated in Chicago’s Humboldt Park neighborhood, students are bused in to the school from locations throughout the city.
Chicago Cares is a non-profit organization that provides opportunities for individuals and businesses to improve the Chicago community through participation in creative, structured group volunteer programs designed to address Chicago's most pressing needs.
