Lawyers for the Creative Arts Receives Joseph Jefferson Award Citation

CHICAGO — William H. Frankel, (right), an attorney at the intellectual property law firm Brinks Hofer Gilson & Lione and President of Lawyers for the Creative Arts (LCA), Marcia Rolnik, LCA's Legal Director, (center), and William Rattner, Executive Director of LCA, (left), receive a Special Joseph Jefferson Award Citation on behalf of Lawyers for the Creative Arts, who for more than 32 years has provided pro bono legal services to hundreds of Chicago area theatres and theatre artists. The award was presented at the annual Jeff Awards Citations Wing gala on Monday, June 13, 2005 at Park West, Chicago. 

Founded in 1968, the Joseph Jefferson Awards honor excellence in theatrical productions in the Chicago theatre community. Originally chartered to recognize Equity productions, the non-Equity wing of the Jefferson Awards was founded in 1973 to celebrate outstanding achievement in non-union Chicago theatre.
