CHICAGO — Jerold A. Jacover, president of the intellectual property law firm Brinks Hofer Gilson & Lione, will be recognized along with his wife, Judi Jacover, for their exceptional leadership and generous support of the American Technion Society at the organization's Annual Gala Dinner on Nov. 9.
The society is the leading American organization promoting education in science and technology as well as scientific innovation and entrepreneurship in Israel through the support of Technion – the Israel Institute of Technology, Israel’s premiere science and technology university and on of the major research centers in the world.
The award will be given at the society’s Chicago Chapter annual meeting on Nov. 9 at the Chicago Four Seasons Hotel, 120 E. Delaware St., Chicago, at 6:15 p.m. The ceremony’s keynote speaker, Yossi Klein Halevi, will give an overview of the current situation in the Middle East. Halevi is a columnist for the Jerusalem Post, Israeli correspondent for the New Republic and an associate fellow of the Shalom Center in Jerusalem.
