CHICAGO — Brinks Hofer Gilson & Lione has been listed by Intellectual Property Today magazine as one of the top patent law firms in the country, according to the publication's new annual listing. The firm is listed at number 23 with 971 patents last year.

The ranking is determined by the number of patents issued by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office in the year 2003 where the named firm was listed as the legal representative. 

“We offer a full range of intellectual property law services to a vast clientele. Invariably, we are near the top of the list in every category of IP service, including patent prosecution,” said Brinks President Jerold A. Jacover.
