Two Brinks Hofer Gilson & Lione Attorneys Named Leaders of Licensing Executives Society

CHICAGO - Two attorneys with the intellectual property law firm Brinks Hofer Gilson & Lione were elected to lead the Licensing Executives Society at the organization's annual meeting today in Chicago.

Patent attorney James R. Sobieraj, a shareholder with Brinks, was elected president of the Licensing Executives Society Inc. of the U.S. and Canada. Also, fellow shareholder and patent and trade secrets attorney, Melvin F. Jager, was elected president of the Licensing Executives Society International Inc. (LESI).

The Licensing Executives Society International Inc. has approximately 11,000 members in more than 80 countries who are involved in the licensing, developing, protecting and commercialization of intellectual property. The Licensing Executives Society Inc. of the U.S. and Canada is a member society of the international organization and is comprised of more than 5,000 members. LESI members are business executives and professionals in the fields of law, finance, valuation, academia and government.
