Manufacturing solutions are at the center of the economic recovery, with the Clean Tech sector helping to lead the way. Please join the Global Midwest Alliance (GMA), Association of Manufacturing Technology (AMT), Midwest Research University Network (MRUN) and Brinks Hofer Gilson & Lione on February 8, 2012, at a luncheon discussion on manufacturing technology and clean technology, and hear an update on upcoming events.

The strengths of the Midwest were well demonstrated at Midwest Clean Tech, and this year's 5th annual event promises to continue to strengthen cooperation and communication between clean tech innovators and financiers, business management experts and the international community. Midwest Clean Tech 2012 will take place in conjunction with AMT's International Manufacturing Technology Show, to be held at McCormick Place, leveraging the natural affinity between the advanced manufacturing sector and clean technology. Sectors highlighted this year in conjunction with the manufacturing focus will include Smart Grid, energy efficiency, water technologies, wind power, logistics, food and automotive.
Another of the highlights of Midwest Clean Tech is the announcement of the top five winners of the Brinks Innovation Competition (BIC). Now in its 4th year, the Brinks Innovation Competition was created to help emerging and venture‐ready clean technology companies gain visibility and make the right connections.
