24 Brinks Attorneys Named Illinois Super Lawyers and 10 Named Rising Stars

CHICAGO – Law & Politics has named 24 Brinks Hofer Gilson & Lione attorneys as Illinois Super Lawyers and 10 of the firm's attorneys as Rising Stars in the 2012 edition of Illinois Super Lawyers magazine. In addition, Laura Beth Miller, chair of Brinks' International Trade Commission group, has been named to the Top 50 Women Illinois Super Lawyers list, and Gary M. Ropski has been named to the Top 100 Illinois Super Lawyers list.

"It is gratifying and encouraging that Brinks’ deep roster of IP attorneys has been recognized for excellence by their peers," said Brinks president James R. Sobieraj. "It is doubly impressive that two of our top attorneys have been recognized as the best in their field. This attests to Brinks' leadership in the practice of intellectual property law."

To select attorneys for Illinois Super Lawyers, Law and Politics surveyed more than 47,000 lawyers in 70 practice areas in Illinois and asked them to identify the best lawyers they had personally worked with or had observed in action. Attorneys from private firms of all sizes and in-house counsel were considered.
