SALT LAKE CITY – For the third consecutive year, Utah Business recognized Brinks attorney Ryan L. Marshall among the Utah Legal Elite in the practice of intellectual property law. The magazine’s special Legal Elite section published in the January 2012 issue.
Lawyers throughout Utah were asked to vote for attorneys whose work they have witnessed first-hand and whose services they would recommend to others. The attorneys included in the Legal Elite list received at least ten votes and were reviewed and approved by a panel of top senior attorneys.
Mr. Marshall, a new shareholder at Brinks, has substantial experience in the chemical, pharmaceutical and biochemical arts. He counsels clients and prepares opinions relating to patentability, invalidity, enforceability, infringement and clearance issues. He has worked with a broad range of technologies, particularly in the fields of polymers, chemical instruments, fuel processing, animal health, and pharmaceuticals including synthesis, peptides, protein complexes and chelates, nucleosides, DNA sequence tags, point-of-care DNA diagnostics and DNA amplification.
