Brinks Hofer Gilson & Lione Attorneys' Licensing Article to be Included in American Bar Association's "Best Of ABA Sections"

ANN ARBOR Steven L. Oberholtzer and Joshua E. Ney, Ph.D., attorneys in the Ann Arbor office of Brinks Hofer Gilson & Lione and co-authors of an article entitled "Licensing: Choice of Law and Venue," have been notified that the article will appear in the American Bar Association’s September 11, 2011 issue of the Best of ABA Sections, a special issue of the General Practice, Solo and Small Firm Division’s magazine, GPSolo.

The article first appeared in the May/June 2011 issue of Landslide, a bi-monthly magazine of the American Bar Association’s Section of Intellectual Property Law that offers news and analysis on patents, trademarks, copyrights and related topics. The premise of the article is that the choice of law and venue provisions in intellectual property agreements can have profound impact on the rights afforded clients and the cost and complexity of resolving disputes.
