CHICAGO - Brinks Hofer Gilson & Lione's Gary M. Ropski, a partner and member of the firm's Strategic Marketing Committee, will speak at a conference on law firm business development and marketing at the "Law Firm Marketers' Roundtable," sponsored by LexisNexis, which will be held Nov. 3-4 at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Phoenix.
Ropski will be participating in a panel discussion on the "View from the In-house Counsel's Office," discussing strategies for getting on the in-house short list. Joining him on the panel will be Michael J. Femal, Senior IP Counsel for Schneider Electric North America and a Brinks client.
"It is exciting to be a part of a conference with a client discussing how in-house and outside counsel work together," said Ropski. "This should be a very informative and insightful roundtable on how law firms can best work with existing clients and how they can expand their business opportunities with new clients."
The conference will provide legal marketers and marketing partners with practical and successful tools, strategies and models to aid them in increasing the success of the marketing efforts in their firms. There will be results-oriented presentations by leaders in the legal marketing field, along with interactive sessions focusing on the relationship between outside counsel and corporate law departments.
