Roy E. Hofer wrote a “Voice of the People” commentary on the retention of judges in Illinois in the November 10, 2010, issue of the Chicago Tribune. Mr. Hofer is a member of the Judicial Performance Commission of Cook County, a 17-member group formed earlier this year to evaluate and provide performance improvement plans to judges who are seeking new terms in Cook County.
