Kelly K. Burris, a shareholder in the Ann Arbor, MI office of Brinks Hofer Gilson & Lione, was featured in the September 28, 2009, edition of Detroiter.com, a blog featuring news and items of interest about the Detroit area. Ms. Burris won an "Unsung Hero" award for volunteering with the Air Charity Network, which transports medical supplies and people with medical conditions to places that commercial flights do not fly. In June, Ms. Burris won the 2009 Historic National Women's Air Race Classic and donated her winnings to the Air Charity Network.
