Kelly K. Burris, a shareholder in the Ann Arbor, MI office of Brinks Hofer Gilson & Lione, was featured in an article titled "A Time to Honor Our Best" in the September 2009 issue of the Michigan Bar Journal (print and Web editions.) Ms. Burris won an "Unsung Hero" award for volunteering with the Air Charity Network, which transports medical supplies and people with medical conditions to places that commercial flights do not fly. Ms. Burris competed in and won the 2009 Historic National Women's Air Race Classic, a cross country race held in June of this year, and donated her winnings to the Air Charity Network.
