Kelly K. Burris, a shareholder in the Ann Arbor, MI office of Brinks Hofer Gilson & Lione, was featured in an article titled "Michigan Attorney Wins Historic National Women's Air Race Classic" in the August 2009 issue of the Michigan Bar Journal (print and Web editions.) Ms. Burris was named an "Unsung Hero" and received an award for volunteering with the Air Charity Network, which transports medical supplies and people with medical conditions to places that commercial flights do not fly. Earlier this year, Ms. Burris competed in and won the 2009 Historic National Women's Air Race Classic, a cross country race which was held in June, and donated her winnings to the Air Charity Network.
