Roy E. Hofer, a senior shareholder at Brinks Hofer Gilson & Lione, published an op-ed article titled "American Murders" which appeared in the "Voice of the People: Commentary" section of the July 18, 2009, issue of the Chicago Tribune. Mr. Hofer discussed the issue of increasing gun-related violence in the United States in response to an article by Chicago attorney Gerald D. Skoning titled "Gun Violence: Where's the Outrage" which appeared in the same section of the July 10, 2009, issue of the Chicago Tribune.
