Burris, a shareholder in the Ann Arbor, MI office of Brinks Hofer Gilson & Lione, was featured in an article titled "Proposed Law Would Recognize Inventors Who are First to File, Rather Than Those Who are First to Invent" which appeared in the May 18, 2009,  edition of Michigan Lawyers Weekly. Ms. Burris discussed how the proposed patent law legislation will be a step forward, making it easier and more efficient for those filing patents.
