David S. Fleming, chair of the Trademark Litigation Group at Brinks Hofer Gilson & Lione, wrote an article titled "La Cafetière Can Continue Selling its Coffee Makers, Says Court" which was featured in the May 5, 2009 edition of the World Trademark Review Daily (online). In the article, Mr. Fleming discussed the case of Bodum USA Inc. v. La Cafetière Inc. Bodum USA Inc. sued La Cafetière for trade dress infringement on a French press coffee maker. The U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois granted La Cafetière's request for a summary judgment.
