Lawrence G. Almeda, chair of the Nanotechnology Group at Brinks Hofer Gilson & Lione, was mentioned in the "Weekly News Round-Up" section of the April 28, 2009, edition of the Chicago Committee Catch-Up, a weekly e-newsletter from the Chicago Committee on Minorities in Large Law Firms. He was recently appointed by Michigan Governor Jennifer M. Granholm of Michigan to the Asian Pacific American Affairs Commission. His term begins immediately and will expire on November 30, 2012.
