Lawrence G. Almeda, chair of the Nanotechnology Group at Brinks Hofer Gilson & Lione, was mentioned in the "Business Newsmakers" section of the January 8, 2009 edition of Hometownlife.com (Canton, MI). Mr. Almeda recently served as the emcee for a dinner reception honoring Michigan State Representative Hoon-Yung Hopgood. Representative Hopgood, an advocate of the Michigan Asian Pacific community, was being honored for completing his third and last term as a State Representative.
