Roy E. Hofer, a senior partner with Brinks Hofer Gilson & Lione, wrote an article that was featured in the October 22, 2008 issue of the Chicago Tribune. Mr. Hofer's article, titled "Conflicting Messages about Unqualified Judges," discussed Mr. Hofer's opinion on how many unqualified judges retain their positions despite the efforts of the Chicago Bar Association (CBA) and the Cook County Bar Association to educate voters on judges' qualifications. Mr. Hofer is a former president of the CBA.
