Steven P. Shurtz, managing shareholder of the Salt Lake City, Utah office of Brinks Hofer Gilson & Lione, participated in a business roundtable held by the publication and subsequently was mentioned in its article in the June 2008 issue of Utah Business. The article, entitled "Businesses, Attorneys Should Work Together, Experts Say," talks about the working relationships between corporations and law firms. Mr. Shurtz talked specifically about the need for small startup companies to utilize intellectual property attorneys to protect their intellectual property which is often their biggest asset.
