Jacover, a shareholder at Brinks Hofer Gilson & Lione and the firm’s immediate past president, was mentioned in various media on April 30, 2008 regarding the debut of his first novel, Merkle’s Curse – why the Cubs have not won a World Series since 1908. The book is a fictional novel chronicling the storied curse of the Chicago Cubs. A book signing event was held at Brinks on May 1, 2008 in conjunction with the release of the book.
