Steven P. Shurtz, managing shareholder of the Salt Lake City, Utah office of Brinks Hofer Gilson & Lione, was quoted in an article in the April 23, 2008 issue of UtahBusiness.com and PinHawk Chicago Law Firm NewzDigest.com. The article, entitled “Businesses, Attorneys Should Work Together, Experts Say,” talks about the working relationships between corporations and law firms. Mr. Shurtz talked specifically about the need for small startup companies to utilize intellectual property attorneys to protect their intellectual property which is often their biggest asset.
