Jerome Gilson, a named partner and a senior shareholder in Brinks Hofer Gilson & Lione was recognized in the “People” section of the December 2007 issue of Chicago Lawyer magazine as being inducted into the IP Hall of Fame for 2007. The IP Hall of Fame, established in 2006, honors those individuals who have played a major role in the creation of today’s intellectual property system. Mr. Gilson has practice trademark and unfair competition law for more than 40 years and is the original author of a standard legal treatise in this field now known as Gilson on Trademarks. The ceremonies were held on October 24 in Chicago.
