Jerome Gilson, a named partner and a senior shareholder in Brinks Hofer Gilson & Lione was mentioned in the November 2007 edition of State of the Union regarding his induction into the IP Hall of Fame for 2007. The IP Hall of Fame, established in 2006, was created to recognize those individuals who have played a major role in the creation of today’s intellectual property system. Mr. Gilson has practice trademark and unfair competition law for more than 40 years and is the original author of a standard legal treatise in this field now known as Gilson on Trademarks.
