Brinks Hofer Gilson & Lione attorneys Robert D. Summers, Jr., Danielle Anne Phillip and Raquel Rodriguez were pictured in the "Social Scene" section of the October 2009 issue of Chicago Lawyer magazine regarding the firm's participation in the 2nd annual Just the Beginning Foundation's 2009 Summer Legal Institute. More than 60 Chicago-area high school juniors and seniors attended a luncheon and panel discussion at Brinks' Chicago office on intellectual property law basics, memorable cases and projects that make the practice of law rewarding. The Foundation is a non-profit organization supporting students of color and, through its Summer Legal Institute, offers a series of programs aimed at keeping underrepresented students of all ages on a path towards a legal career.
