Mr. Stanley’s prosecution and opinion experience has included numerous technologies, such as medical devices, industrial tools, construction equipment, semiconductors, etc. In recent years, Mr. Stanley has made efforts to expand his client relationships to include Korean companies. He has expanded his relationships in Korea by providing numerous presentations on U.S. patent law to his contacts at Korean law firms.
Prior to joining Brinks, Mr. Stanley had years of experience as an engineer for John Deere. As a design engineer, he was a liaison between suppliers, factory, marketing and customer support teams. His responsibilities included design analysis, determining test procedures, approving design changes and project coordination for transmissions, rear axles and front axles, as well as competitive assessments of competitor's axles. In his role as a quality engineer, Mr. Stanley was responsible for quality assurance for machined and raw cast iron purchased from outside suppliers, resolving quality issues with shop personnel and suppliers, and appraising prospective new suppliers. As a manufacturing engineer, he was in charge of the design, specification and implementation of tooling and machines for both assembly operations and cast iron machining which was necessary for the complete manufacture of final drives for mechanical front wheel drive axles.
