Kent Genin's practice includes both patent prosecution and litigation. As a registered U.S. patent attorney with a background in electrical engineering, Mr. Genin has extensive experience in preparing and prosecuting U.S. and international patent applications and is responsible for development and management of a number of patent portfolios. His work has involved a wide variety of technologies and business areas, including telecommunications systems, memory devices, software, business methods, medical devices, automotive technology, and manufacturing equipment. He also counsels clients regarding patentability, validity, infringement and licensing issues.

  • BI Incorporated v. Elmo-Tech Ltd. and SecurityLink, Inc., D. Colorado, Case No. 01-N-1568. Represented defendants in patent infringement action relating to electronic monitoring of parolees.
