Joshua T. Elliott

Practice Summary

Mr. Elliott's practice focuses on patent law matters related to biochemistry and biotechnology, including counseling clients on complex patent law issues such as freedom-to-operate, infringement, validity and design around strategies. His practice also includes rendering opinions, conducting patent due diligence investigations, advising clients on patent portfolio strategies and preparing and prosecuting patent applications. Josh has assisted clients with a variety of technologies in areas such as proteins, peptides, nucleic acids, antibodies, cell-based assays, pharmaceuticals, proteomics, metabolomics, RNA interference and vaccines.

Josh has particular experience in advising biopharmaceutical companies and generic pharmaceutical companies on patent issues related to advancing products to market.
