  • Intermatic, Inc. v. Lamson & Sessions. Represented patent owner in suit for infringement of a patent on weatherproof outlet covers. Jury verdict of willful patent infringement in favor of client.
  • Aliant Communications Inc. v. Interstate Energy Corp. Represented Interstate Energy in a trademark infringement action. The case was settled after a temporary restraining order hearing and a preliminary injunction hearing.
  • Intermatic, Inc. v. Toeppen. Represented the owner of federally registered trademark in a suit against a "cybersquatter." In a landmark decision, the Court permanently enjoined the defendant from infringing the trademark and from asserting further interest in an internet domain name.
  • Intermatic Incorporated v. Chardonnay Corp. Represented patent owner in jury trial for infringement of a patent on an electronic remote control system. Jury verdict of willful patent infringement.
  • Peyton v. Fishhawk Electronics. Suit for infringement of a patent covering fishing electronics. Jury verdict of patent infringement in favor of client-patent owner.
  • Bacus Laboratories, Inc. v. MicroBrightField, Inc. Patent infringement action involving virtual microscopy imaging software.
  • Regent Lighting Corporation v. BWF/M, Stephens Manufacturing, Inc. Design patent infringement action on a halogen light fixture.
  • Dometic Corporation v. Intertherm, Inc. Patent infringement action relating to an RV air conditioner.
  • Docu-Vision, Inc. v. Court Technologies, Inc. Preliminary injunction proceedings. Patent involved video conferencing system for courtrooms.
  • Budd Company v. Complax. Patent infringement action relating to plastic molded automobile parts.
  • Intermatic, Inc. v. Honeywell, Inc. Infringement of a patent covering an an electronic timer.
  • Taymac Corporation v. Intermatic Inc. Patent infringement action on an in-use weatherproof electrical outlet cover.
  • Borg-Warner v. PT Components, Inc. Patent infringement suit involving automotive power transmission parts.
