Jennifer L. Fox

Practice Summary

Ms. Fox focuses her practice on counseling pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies in patent and related transactional matters. As both a research scientist and patent attorney, she has over 15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.

Prior to joining Brinks, Hofer, Gilson and Lione, Ms. Fox was the head of the Life Sciences and Biotechnology practice group at Coats + Bennett, PLLC, a boutique intellectual property firm just outside of Research Triangle Park, NC.

Before entering private practice, Ms. Fox worked as an in-house attorney for Novozymes North America, Inc. and previously worked as a pharmaceutical and biotechnology patent attorney for GlaxoSmithKline, Inc. (GSK).

In addition to her J.D., Ms.Fox holds a Master of Science in molecular biology and biochemistry. Following graduate school she worked as a research scientist at the National Institute of Health (NIH) and at Glaxo Wellcome, Inc. She has been published in numerous peer reviewed journals including Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, Biochemistry and Molecular Endocrinology.
